ISPRS Best Paper Award on human activity patterns for Dr. Wei Huang

Recently the paper “Understanding human activity patterns based on space-time-semantics” by Wei Huang, and Songnian Li (Ryerson University, Toronto, Canada) has been selected as the best paper published in 2016 (volumes 111-122) in the ISPRS Journal of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing.

Dr. Wei Huang is since late 2016 team member of the GIScience Research Group. The paper was part of his PhD thesis at Ryerson. Congratulations Wei!

The U.V. Helava Award, sponsored by Elsevier B.V. and Leica Geosystems AG, is a prestigious ISPRS Award established in 1998.
