Melanie Eckle (HeiGIT/Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team) will join the Dialogue Platform on Forcast-based Financing in Berlin tomorrow to share insights about the Missing Maps project, the related work of the HeiGIT/GIScience Research Group and the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team and potential ideas for further collaboration. The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and the German Red Cross are currently hosting the 6th International Dialogue Platform on Forecast-based Financing (FbF). The global event is intended for meteorologists, climate scientists, academia and humanitarian actors to work on anticipatory humanitarian assistance, and for sharing latest insights and ideas for further innovation.
