This week the GIScience Research Group Heidelberg is moving to a new location: the offices of the whole group are now in the building-complex Im Neuenheimer Feld 368 (1st floor) and 348 (ground floor) – also called INF 348 and INF 368 for short – at the Neuenheim Campus (“Im Feld”) of Heidelberg University.
Because of the shortage of office space for the last years the group had to work seperated in three different buildings that were several minutes away from each other. Now the whole GIScience group has the possibility to work together again in one building which shall stimulate communication and exchange.
In the same building there are also the professors for Physical Geography and we hope that the colleagues from Human Geography also will join us soon again.
